About the Center
We have opened the doors of our home to you…literally
Apple-A-Day Child Care Center LLC resides on our 1676 square foot home in a lovely residential area in the city of Milwaukee. Our center features an exceptional outdoor space with a Rainbow Play Set, organic garden and other play options. Both the residential area of the center and the outdoor provides peace of mind with a sounding security system and locked door and gates to the outdoor spaces. Soon indoor/outdoor camera systems will also add another level of security.
We are licensed with the state of the Wisconsin with facility #2003380. Apple-A-Day Child Care Center also participates in the USDA Child & Adult Food Program through 4C-for Children.
Why this is our Mission
How it all came to be.
Through years of commitment to ministry and community services the owner, founder and staff at Apple-A-Day Child Care Center recognized their calling in child care services.
With the formation of Apple-A-Day Child Care Center we are able to show our genuine, gentle and caring approach to child care.
Every step of the way we believe that the element of “play” is crucial to the emotional, behavioral and cognitive development of children every step of the way. That is why our motto is” Where children grow, learn play.”
About our Staff
What you can expect.
Your child will be under the expert care of our trained, licensed and/or certified staff members that share the same love and commitment that the founders do.
Anyone caring for your child will exude the same excitement for learning through play whenever possible and will work to develop physical, cognitive, social and emotional achievements as they advance in life. Each child’s’ growth and development and learning is their top concern, and we expect nothing less and neither should you or your child.
All of our child care workers have received Infant and Toddler Care Requirement, Shaken Baby Syndrome, SIDS Training and CPR training.

All activities are planned according to the age and developmental level of each child in care and provide children with a wide variety of experiences.
The daily activities include a flexible balance of indoor and outdoor activities, active, quiet play and individual group activities. The activities provided will expose the children to a variety of cultures, and will encourage the children to use and develop language and literacy skills, use large and small muscles, think creatively, learn new ideas and skills, and participate in imaginative play.
